Mackenzie Millhouse is a Texan native, she grew up in Corpus Christi, TX and later moved to San Marcos in 2014 to obtain her bachelors and master’s degree from Texas State University in Social Work. Ms. Mackenzie is a Licensed Master of Social Work and is in progress to obtain a clinical licensure.

Prior to working for Del Valle ISD, Ms. Mackenzie worked in intensive mental health hospitalization outpatient programs and oversaw coordination of care for prior programs through a social work lens. Her work passions include supporting others and creating a safe space for kids to grow and learn more about themselves, their community, and how to meet their emotional and behavioral needs. Her personal passions include traveling, Bravo TV, spending time with family and friends, attending comedy shows and live music, as well as taking care of her fur-baby.

Tara Barnes is a Florida native who moved to Austin in 2015. She received her Master's in School Counseling in 2013 and has worked in education, case management, and school counseling since then. Her passion is helping young people believe in themselves and overcome barriers to live happy and healthy lives. She loves animals, going to comedy shows, anything outdoors, and working out at OrangeTheory.
