Early College High School Parent Night

8th grade students and their parents are invited to learn how to earn an Associate’s Degree from ACC while earning your High School Diploma. If you are interested in joining the 2018-2019 Early College High School Cohort, please attend. Parents and Students will receive information about the ECHS program, the application process for the 2018-2019 school year, as well as information on dual credit, AP. and CTE programs offered at DVHS. Band at Capitol

The Ojeda Middle School Band performed at the Texas State Capitol on Dec. 5,  in front of friends, family and guests.They played classic holiday songs and concluded the concert with the School Fight Song

After their performance, the band toured the State Capitol by visiting the House of Representatives and Senate Chambers.

Students will be released early at 1:00 pm on Friday, Dec. 22nd, to start Winter Break.

Requirements for attendance

  • Passing ALL classes
  • 4 or less classroom referrals for semester
  • 6 or less absences for semester
  • No CAEP or DAEP

Dec 25-Jan 9

School will be closed Dec. 25th – Jan. 8th for Winter Break. The 2018 school year will resume on Tues., Jan. 9th.
